The Amazing Spider-Man
One of the world's most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in "The Amazing Spider-Man."
The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and releases in 3D July 4th 2012.
Teenage Peter Parker develops his emerging superpowers while coping with college life - there's school bully Eugene 'Flash' Thompson, and the lure of the lovely Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).
Spider-Man will face super villains The Lizard (Rhys Ifans), a reptilian humanoid monster, and Van Adder, an employee of Oscorp who develops superpowers and goes insane after being injected with the corporation's "Goblin Serum".
The new film also stars Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
