TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2D MATERIAL DELIVERY TO PARK ROAD

PICTURE

• 2K Tiff, Targa or DPX
• 8, 10 or 16 bit depth
• Picture Safe 2048x1107 pixels for 1.85:1 Theatrical Aspect Ratio
• Titles within Titles Picture Safe 1638x886 pixels centred in 1.85 frame

 

LABELLING

Please ensure the data file is labelled with:

• Commercial name
• File format
• Pixel Frame Size (eg 2048x1107)
• Frame Count (total number of frames)
• Film Speed (25fps or 24fps)

 

SOUND

• Dialogue Stems (in 2 track stereo or 6 track 5.1)
• FX Stems (in 2 track stereo or 6 track 5.1)
• Music Stems (in 2 track stereo or 6 track 5.1)

 

Ensure that each stem includes a sync pip either at 48frames (for 24fps film speed) or 50frames (for 25fps film speed) before the first frame to ensure correct sync.

Unfortunately, stems provided that do not have the sync pips will have to be re-supplied

 

Each stem must be in perfect balance with each other

 

DCP sound finish requires any dialogue in the 2Tk master to be phased coherent between the left and right tracks in order for a 5.1Tk to be made

• Stem type (Dialogue, Music or FX)
• Film Speed (25fps or 24fps)
