Our recent H1 FilmFronts events gave clients across Australia and New Zealand an exciting first look at the blockbuster line-up and audience opportunities coming in H2 2026.
The presentation opened by spotlighting cinema’s huge Q1 momentum, with total admissions up +16% YOY. We also revisited our latest Famous for Families research, exploring one of cinema’s most influential audiences. Building on insights from our 2024 Famous study the message is clear: brands looking to drive growth need to connect with families, and cinema remains one of the most powerful environments to do it.

To close out the presentation, we looked ahead to the huge summer period on the horizon. Releasing within just two weeks of each other, Dune: Part Three, Avengers: Doomsday and Jumanji: Open World will dominate the cultural conversation and drive one of the biggest summer box office periods of all time.
